When we set up Macbeth Lankester we made a promise to use our skills to help good causes, and for Inclusion Gloucestershire we’re doing exactly that. It’s a very special organisation that is changing and improving the lives of people living with disabilities.
There are now 13.9 million disabled people in the UK – making up 20% of the population. That’s more than one in five, and this figure is rising.
Too many people with disabilities are pushed to the margins of society. Everyone has gifts, ambitions, aspirations and strengths. But sometimes they experience barriers, setbacks and challenges which make it harder for them to reach their potential. Inclusion Gloucestershire is changing this. It’s giving people with disabilities a voice and ensures they have real life opportunities.
Inclusion is a registered charity and a user-led organisation, run by people with disabilities. This makes it unique and makes us proud to be supporting them as part of our CSR strategy.
We’re helping the team at Inclusion with its corporate branding, key messaging and wider marketing outreach programme, to ensure more people benefit from its fantastic services and support and that people with disabilities are truly included in society.
